Event Overview
The I Pink I Can Run is a running and walking event for breast cancer awareness. This is the 13th annual edition. The main in-person event is a 4-mile run/walk. Participants can also register as virtual participants.
Location & Format
The in-person event takes place at The Flora-Bama in Pensacola, Florida. The address is 17401 Perdido Key Dr. Virtual participants can complete their run or walk in their own neighborhood, a local park, or on a treadmill between February 21 and February 28, 2026.
Registration & Fees
Registration is offered for several categories, including a run, a walk, and survivor-specific categories for both runners and walkers. There is also a shirt-only registration option. Standard in-person registration costs $35 through February 25, 2026, increasing to $40 for packet pickup and race-day registration. Virtual options range from $25 to $40. Online registration closes on February 25, 2026.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available at multiple locations and times:
- Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Fleet Feet Pensacola from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Friday, February 27, 2026, at The Flora-Bama from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
- Saturday, February 28, 2026, at The Flora-Bama from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM for same-day pickup and registration.
Shirts are guaranteed for the first 750 registrants and for those registered by January 30, 2026, for size guarantee. Shirts for virtual participants are mailed the week of March 1, 2026, with postage included for domestic shipping in the contiguous United States.
Awards & Policies
Awards are given in multiple categories, including top overall male and female, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, age groups, and top breast cancer survivors and walkers. Virtual participants are not eligible for prizes. Pets are not allowed on the course or in the start/finish areas. Parking is noted as limited.
Beneficiary
All proceeds benefit The Keeping Abreast Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports mammography and breast health programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
