The I Just Want to Be A Unicorn Half Marathon and 5k takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Knoxville, TN (500 Neyland Drive, 37902). The event is organized by Personal Best Racing and includes the following distances:

Course, awards and logistics
Both the half marathon and 5k use riverfront greenways and roads. The half marathon route runs west on Neyland Drive, crosses a greenway connection over the river and through wooded sections, follows the Tyson Greenway to Concord, and finishes at Volunteer Landing. The 5k runs west on Neyland and turns around at the connection between the new and old greenway.
Packet pickup is scheduled the evening before at The Long Run (2452 Sutherland Ave) and on race morning at Volunteer Landing (956 Volunteer Landing Lane). All participants receive a medal; half marathon medals differ from the 5k medals. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, top masters man and woman, and for age groups: 5 and under, 6-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+. Virtual entries include a race shirt (while inventory lasts), a medal, and a race bib, with an option to have the packet shipped or picked up.
