I Just Want to Be A Unicorn Half Marathon and 5k
This event takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee, with the primary location listed as 500 Neyland Drive (Volunteer Landing area). It includes multiple race options and routes that use riverfront greenways and city roads.

The half marathon route heads west on Neyland Drive to a greenway connection that crosses the river and passes through wooded sections, continues onto the Tyson Greenway to Concord, and returns to Volunteer Landing. The 5k heads west on Neyland and turns around at the connection between a new greenway and an older greenway. The courses are presented as USATF certified.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday evening, March 6, at The Long Run, 2452 Sutherland Ave (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm), and again on Saturday morning at Volunteer Landing, 956 Volunteer Landing Lane, opening at 6:30 am and closing at 7:50 am for both the half marathon and 5k.
All participants receive a medal; half marathon medals differ from other distances. Awards include top three male and female overall, top masters male and female, and three-deep male and female age-group awards covering age categories from 5 and under up to 90 plus.
