HYROX Tampa

The fitness racing series HYROX makes its debut in the Tampa Bay area for a three-day event held from October 23 to October 25, 2026. This competition brings together elite athletes and first-time competitors for a series of fitness challenges focused on strength and endurance.

The event features several participation formats:

  • Singles
  • Doubles
  • Relay

Participants receive a finisher patch and an individual finisher time with split timings for each specific workout. Results are posted on a live leaderboard throughout the competition. Athletes competing in various age groups have the opportunity to participate in award ceremonies, which take place after all competitors in a division have finished. Certain age group placements offer qualification slots for the World Championships.

The venue includes a central area known as the Thunderdome, where spectators can watch the racing action. An entertainment zone featuring various partners is also located on-site. Aid stations are positioned throughout the course to provide support before, during, and after the race.

Registration on-site opens for each division 90 minutes before the respective first start wave. Participants must present a valid ID to check in, and checking in on behalf of other athletes is not permitted. Individual start times are typically released approximately three days before the event.

Athletes may choose a charity ticket option in partnership with High Impact Athletes. This allows participants to fundraise for causes such as global health, climate solutions, mental health, or women's empowerment, with specific minimum fundraising requirements based on the chosen race division.
