Hyde Park Harriers Summer Mile
The Hyde Park Harriers Summer Mile is a meet of one mile races held on tarmac paths in Woodhouse Moor, Leeds on 24 June 2026. The course is a road route on flat ground and is run over two laps. Races are chip timed by RaceBest and the event holds a race licence.
Entry is open to athletes aged 16 years or over on the day of the event. There is an overall entry limit of 450 places; the listed availability shows 170 places remaining. Entry fees are shown by affiliation: athletes affiliated to UKA pay £12.00 with UKA registration required, unaffiliated athletes pay £14.00. Fees include race charges and card or administration costs.
Prizes include an award for a new event record, trophies for the best miler in each club subject to club entries, a perpetual trophy for the winning club based on combined best male and female times, and graded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for finishers.
Event rules prohibit wearing or carrying MP3 players, headphones, music devices, head cams or recording devices. Facilities on site include water and distance markers; there are no toilets, changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
