Hyde Park Harriers Summer Mile
The Hyde Park Harriers Summer Mile takes place on Wednesday 24 June 2026 at Woodhouse Moor in Leeds. It is an evening of one mile races run on tarmac paths. The course is a road route, flat in profile, completed over two laps and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Races are open to club and non affiliated runners. Entrants must be 16 years or over on the day of the race. Entry is limited to 450 runners and the event uses chip timing by RaceBest. Late entries and entry on the night are not permitted.
Prizes include an award for a new event record, trophies for the best miler in each club subject to club entry numbers, a perpetual trophy for the winning club based on combined best male and female times, and graded gold, silver and bronze medals for all finishers.
Facilities on site are limited. Water and distance markers are provided. There are no toilets, no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Entry fees include race fees, card charges and administration: £12 for athletes affiliated to UKA with registration provided, £14 for unaffiliated runners.
