Hyattsville Zombie Run
The Hyattsville Zombie Run is an annual community event organized by volunteers from the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA. Held in Driskell Park, Maryland, the event marks its 10th anniversary as a fundraiser to support local neighborhood schools. Participants can choose from three distinct distances held within the park grounds:
- 5K Run/Walk (USATF certified)
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- 1K Family Fun Run/Walk
The 5K course is USATF certified, providing a measured route for those tracking official distances. While the event carries a zombie theme, it is designed as a family-friendly gathering where participants can run or walk. Registration is open to the public, with different entry fees assigned to the various race lengths.
