Huxley 5 Mile
The Huxley 5 Mile is scheduled for Sunday 18 July 2027. The event is a fast and flat 5 mile race. Course records are listed as 24:16 for men and 26:06 for women.
Race headquarters are at Huxley Village Hall, Huxley Lane, Huxley near Chester CH3 9BG, where race numbers can be collected. Parking is provided in fields opposite the race headquarters and will be signposted; further parking details are included in race instructions that are emailed during race week.
Entry is open to those aged 15 and over on the race date. The standard entry price is £29. Early bird pricing was offered at £19 and £17 for the first 100 entries or until the end of July 2026, whichever came first. The organiser does not offer refunds or deferrals, but entries may be transferred to another runner using the online transfer facility up until midnight on the Friday before the race.
Finishers receive a bespoke metal medal and finish line flapjacks. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three men and the top three women. If parking fields become unusable due to unseasonal weather, the race may be cancelled and affected entrants moved to the following year.
