Hustle For Heroes 5K
The Hustle For Heroes 5K is the fourth annual event on April 10, 2027, hosted by the CSU Physical Therapy department at 500 BUC Club Boulevard, North Charleston, SC 29406.
The main event is a 5K run/walk that follows CSU campus trails and finishes in the football stadium. A children's fun run of 400 yards takes place in the stadium the same morning. A separate Senior Games 5K is also listed. The day includes give-aways, kids activities, and food trucks.
All proceeds from the event benefit WarriorWOD. WarriorWOD focuses on healing veterans' invisible wounds through a holistic approach that emphasizes exercise, nutrition, and mentorship, and supports recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress and other challenges.
The event invites runners, walkers, rollers (including baby strollers and wheelchairs), and sponsors to raise funds for veterans. Listed registration fees for the announced events are $35.00 for the Hustle for Heroes 5K, $10.00 for the fun run, and $0.00 for the Senior Games 5K.
