About the race
The Huntsville Half and Huntsville 10k take place on October 18, 2026, in Huntsville, Texas. Both events start and finish across from Rather Park on University Avenue near 1223 University Avenue, and use much of the traditional course through Sam Houston State University. The half-marathon follows a two-loop layout while the 10k uses a single loop with a slightly earlier turnaround on the out-and-back section. The two races run concurrently on the same course.
Registration opens and closes on the following dates: registration for the half opens June 26, 2026 and closes August 17, 2026; registration for the 10k opens June 24, 2026 and closes August 17, 2026. Published registration fees are $69.00 for the half-marathon and $45.00 for the 10k. The event is scheduled in a time frame that can serve as a tune-up for those training for the Chevron Houston Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
