Huntsville Half and 10k
The Huntsville Half returns to Texas, featuring a course that utilizes much of its traditional route. This event takes place at Sam Houston State University, with activities centered around Bowers Stadium. Participants can choose between two road race distances:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.2 Miles (10k)
The races are held concurrently on the same course. The 13.1 mile distance consists of two loops, while the 6.2 mile distance is completed in a single loop. Both distances follow an out and back format, with the 10k runners utilizing an earlier turn-around point.
The start and finish lines for both events are located at 620 Bowers Blvd in Huntsville. The timing of the event is designed to serve as a preparation race for those training for the Chevron Houston Marathon.
