Hunger Run/Walk 5K and 10K
Bluewater Fitness hosts a community race event in Niceville, Florida on April 10, 2027. A portion of proceeds benefits Niceville Sharing and Caring. No refunds; proceeds support charity efforts.
Distances and children's events include:
- 5K fast out and back along White Point Road, finishing at the gym.
- 10K scenic route with bay views through Bluewater Bay neighborhoods, includes a short sandy non paved turnaround on Maxwell Gunter and a 90 minute time limit.
- Kids Fun Run for ages 3 to 10, split into two heats: ages 3 to 6 run one lap, ages 7 to 10 run two laps.
The Kids Fun Run awards medals to the top two males and top two females in each heat, and all finishers receive a goodie bag. Participants must be at least 3 years old and no older than 10 for the kids race; older children may join the 5K or 10K. Strollers are welcome in the 5K and 10K.
T shirts are guaranteed for everyone who registers before March 15, 2026. Early packet pickup is Friday, April 9 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bluewater Fitness. Late registration and packet pickup is Saturday, April 10 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at Bluewater Fitness.
An after party at Bluewater Fitness follows the races with music, food, beer, mimosas, vendor displays and a bounce house for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
