Event overview
The event is a back to basics, low cost, no prizes cross-country race held on Sunday, 28 December 2025. The main race is a 10K undulating cross-country course that starts and finishes at the Acresford Sand and Gravel site, Forest Road, Huncote, Leicestershire. The course includes Croft Hill and a stream and follows the same route as the previous year. Parking and toilets are available on site; there will be no showers.

Entry, age and rules
Entry for the main race opens 30/11/2025 and closes 21/12/2025. Maximum field 400. Minimum age for the main race is 18 years. Transfers are permitted up to 23/12/2025; no transfers are allowed on the day. No refunds or deferrals are available. Race numbers are collected on the day from the registration tent. Junior entries are taken on the day only and cost £1. No headphones, ear buds, bone conductors or in-ear devices are allowed unless for medical reasons. No dogs are allowed on the course.
