Huncote Hash December 2026
Huncote Hash is a back to basics, low cost, no prizes cross country race taking place on Sunday 27 December 2026. The main race is a 10K undulating cross country course that follows the same route as the previous year, including Croft Hill and a stream. The race starts and finishes at the Acresford Sand and Gravel site on Forest Road in Huncote, Leicestershire.
Parking and toilets are available on site. Showers will not be available because the event is not using Huncote Leisure Centre. All race numbers are collected on the day from the registration tent. Entrants are limited to a maximum of 400 runners. Entries open on 29/11/2026 and close on 22/12/2026. The minimum age for the main race is 18 years.
The organiser's terms state that there are no refunds or deferrals under any circumstances. Transfers between entrants are permitted up to 22/12/2026 but not on the day. Headphones, ear buds, bone conductors and in ear devices are not allowed unless used for medical reasons. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Junior Hash races will be held separately with a one lap race for primary school age children and a two lap race for secondary school age children; the event will trial online entries for the junior races as well as entries on the day. Requests to hide a name from published results should be made to the organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
