Event overview
Hull Culture Run I is a six-hour timed challenge organised by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED on Saturday 17 January 2026 in Hull (Poorhouse Lane, HU9 5DF). The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. Maximum number of entrants is 60 and the event has a minimum age of 12 years.
Course and facilities
The course is an out-and-back lap of 4.37 miles, predominantly on a tarmac path along an old railway line with a short section of trail and no navigation required. An aid table is provided at the end of each lap offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and a range of foods such as sweets, biscuits and grapes. Toilets are available at a local leisure facility. Parking is on Preston Road parking bays near Poorhouse Lane; local business car parks and parking along Poorhouse Lane are restricted.
Distances and age limits
Participants may attempt distances from short runs up to ultramarathon distances within the six-hour limit. Specific formats listed include:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra marathon
- 6 hour challenge
Age-based maximum distances under the event rules:
- 12-13 years: 5,000 m
- 14-15 years: 6,000 m
- 16 years: 10,000 m
- 17 years: 25,000 m
- 18-19 years: 45,000 m
- 20 years and over: no maximum distance
