Event overview
Hull Culture Run I is a six-hour timed challenge held on 17 January 2026 and organised by Circuit Running Events Ltd. Entrants may cover distances from a 5 km point up to an ultra marathon within the six-hour limit. Maximum entries are 60 and the minimum age is 12 years. Entry fees listed are £26 (affiliated) and £28 (non affiliated). Entries close on 16 January 2026 and transfers close earlier.
Distances
- 5 km - turn point on the course
- 10 km - two laps of the 5 km lap
- Half marathon - three laps of the 4.37-mile lap
- Marathon - six laps of the 4.37-mile lap
- Ultra marathon - seven or more laps
Course and facilities
The course is an out-and-back loop of 4.37 miles per lap, mainly on tarmac along an old railway line with a small section of trail. No navigation is required. An aid table is available at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and assorted food items including sweets, biscuits and grapes. Toilets are provided at a local leisure facility. There is limited parking on Poorhouse Lane and additional parking on Preston Road; some local business car parks are not for event parking. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a five-piece goody bag. The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. Age-based maximum distances apply.
