Hull Culture Run I is a six-hour timed running challenge held on Saturday 17 January 2026 at Poorhouse Lane, Hull HU9 5DF. Entry is open to participants aged 12 years and over, with a maximum of 60 entrants. Entries close on 16/01/2026. Entry fees are listed as £26.00 for affiliated and £28.00 for non-affiliated competitors. The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules.
Course and facilities
- 4.37 miles - one lap distance.
- 5 km - turn point on the lap for 5k races.
- 10 km - two laps of the 5k turn point.
- Half marathon - three laps of the 4.37 mile course.
- Marathon - six laps of the 4.37 mile course.
- Ultra - seven or more laps for ultra distances.
The course is predominantly on a tarmac path along an old railway line with a small section of trail; it is out-and-back with no navigation required. An aid table is available at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a selection of foods (sweets, biscuits, grapes and more). Toilets are provided at a nearby leisure facility. Parking is available in the Preston Road parking bays near Poorhouse Lane; local business car parks and Poorhouse Lane itself have parking restrictions. Participants may begin their final lap up to six hours into the event. After finishing, competitors receive a bespoke medal and a five-piece goody bag.
