Event overview

Hull Culture Run I is a six-hour timed running event on 14 February 2026 at Poorhouse Lane, Hull HU9 5DF. The event is organised by CIRCUIT RUNNING EVENTS LIMITED. Entrants can cover distances from a 5k up to an ultra marathon within the six-hour limit. Maximum field size is 60. Minimum entry age is 12 years.

Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a five-piece goody bag. The event is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules.

Course, facilities and rules

The course is an out-and-back lap of 4.37 miles on a predominantly tarmac path along an old railway line, with a short section of trail and no navigation required. There is a 5k turn point; a 10k uses two laps of the 5k turn. A half marathon is three laps of the 4.37-mile circuit, a marathon six laps, and seven or more laps count as an ultra marathon. An aid table is provided at the end of each lap offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and various foods such as sweets, biscuits and grapes. Toilets are at a local leisure facility. Parking is on Preston Road parking bays near Poorhouse Lane; local business car parks and parking along Poorhouse Lane are restricted. Age-based maximum distance limits apply for younger competitors.
