Hueston Woods Trail Race
The Hueston Woods Trail Race takes place at Hueston Woods State Park in Ohio. The event is held over two days, starting at the Hedge Row picnic area. The park is situated on limestone and shale bedrock, containing fossilized remnants of ancient marine animals from an ancient shallow sea. Participants run on a variety of surfaces, including single track trails, pavement, and grass.
The event offers several race options over the weekend:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
- 6 Hours of Power
- 20K Relay
A Pack Pass is also available, which provides entry into all events organized by the host for the calendar year. Registration fees vary depending on the selected distance. The race is permitted under a special use authorization from Hueston Woods State Park.
