About the race
The Hudsy 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 24, 2026 at Quogue Elementary School in Quogue, NY. The event honors Joan Hudson and includes a community 5K run or walk with a kids fun run scheduled after the 5K finish. The race course starts and finishes at Quogue Elementary School, 10 Edgewood Road.
Registration options include early and race day pricing, a reduced fee for ages 17 and under, and a donation option. Race entries are nonrefundable and fees contribute toward race expenses. Participants who register three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib. Long sleeve T shirts are provided for the first 150 registered race participants.
Event services include live, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Bib pickup is available starting one hour before the event; last-minute registrants within 24 hours will receive a bib number by text. Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three in multiple age categories, including youth and senior divisions.
