Event
The HSV Sprint Triathlon takes place on 10 May 2026 at Hatfield Sports Village, De Havilland Campus, Hatfield Business Park, Mosquito Way, Hatfield AL10 9EU. The event is organised by Tri-Force Triathlon Club with Active Training World listed as the event organiser. It incorporates the Herts Club Sprint Triathlon Championships. Entry is open to people aged 15 and over on 10/05/2026. Ticket prices listed are £49 for the sprint triathlon and £44 for the aquabike option.
Course and format
The race uses a pool swim, a single-lap bike, and a run. Distances are:
- 400m pool swim in an 8-lane, 25m pool
- 20K one-lap bike on a mainly flat course
- 5K flat run
Swimmers are released singly or in pairs at 15 or 30 second intervals, with the fastest swimmers started first to reduce overtaking in the pool. The bike race is non-draft legal.

The organiser notes a well marked course, supportive marshals, free event photos, a custom medal, and finish-line snacks. Zone3 wetsuit hire is available.
