Event Information
The HRCA Mother's Day 5K is a running event scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026. The course is a 5K and starts and finishes at Cresthill Middle School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Course & Participation
The route winds through Highlands Ranch neighborhoods, sidewalks, and community trails. It has a total ascent of 102 feet and a maximum elevation of 5,855 feet. The event is described as family-friendly. The course is open to strollers and pets, with a request for those participants to start at the back. One aid station providing hydration is located at approximately the 1.5-mile mark.
Awards & Perks
Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each gender category (Overall Male, Female, Non-Binary) and in standard age groups. All participants receive a race t-shirt, a custom giveaway item, a custom race bib, and a pancake breakfast from Flippin' Flapjacks. An additional prize is offered: a kettlebell is hidden along the course, and the first person to find it and return it to the finish line wins $100.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. at the race start. Parking at Cresthill Middle School is free. Restrooms and medical services will be located near the start/finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
