Howloween 5K & 1-Mile Dog Walk : North Wales, PA
The Howloween event takes place on October 31, 2026 at Parkside Place Park in North Wales, Pennsylvania. This is the 12th annual edition and it includes a timed 5K and a one mile dog walk.

Features at the event include a fall fair with dozens of food trucks and vendors, more than 50 raffle baskets, costume contests, a dog agility course, merchandise for sale, and dog-friendly treats listed as "puppuccinos." Four-legged friends are welcome at the activities. Chip timing is provided for the 5K by Bryn Mawr Racing Company. All 5K finishers receive a finisher medal, and awards are given for overall top finishers, age group placings, and the first three dogs to cross the 5K finish line.
Registration and pricing follow early bird, regular, and day-of tiers, with a registration deadline that guarantees event T-shirts if met. All proceeds from the 5K and dog walk benefit Home at Last Dog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that places dogs in foster homes and returns adoption fees to support rescue operations.
