Howland Stars and Stripes 5K Run / Walk
The Howland Stars and Stripes 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 at Howland High School Football Stadium in Warren, Ohio. The event is organized by the Howland Track and Cross Country Programs and includes a community 5K run/walk plus a youth running activity.

Online registration opens April 18, 2026 and closes June 28, 2026. Entry fees for the 5K are $25 before July 1 and $30 from July 1 through race day. The kids’ 100-yard dash is free and does not require registration. Registrants by June 28 will receive a T-shirt. Water stations will be provided along the course. Computerized live race results will be supplied by Gopher Running.
Awards for the 5K include medals for the overall top three male and female finishers and prizes for top three finishers in age group categories. Only one prize will be awarded to any participant. All children in the 100-yard dash will receive an award.
