36th Mill Creek Distance Classic Half Marathon & 5-Mile

The Youngstown Road Runners Club presents the 36th Mill Creek Distance Classic on March 22, 2026 at Wick Recreation Area in Youngstown, Ohio. The event includes two separate running events over measured distances and uses a specified course route for the half marathon.

Registration may be limited, with the organizer reserving the right to close entries at 300 total participants. Packet pick up is scheduled the day before at Second Sole on Boardman-Canfield Road and there is race day packet pick up at the Wick Recreation Area. Fee information and any postmark or late registration rules are set by the organizer.

Proceeds support the YSU Cross Country Scholarship Endowment and the YRRC shoe program for high school runners in need. Awards are presented in overall and age group categories. For the half marathon awards include top three male and female overall plus masters categories and age group placements. The 5 mile event also awards top three male and female overall plus age group placements across multiple age bands.
