Houtzdale Days 5K Run/Walk

This event is a community 5K run/walk held in Houtzdale, PA. The advertised course is slightly longer than a standard 5K, listed at 3.3 miles. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event.

Amenities include guaranteed shirts for registrations received by July 17, live/results delivery by text and email, free finish line photos, and the option for a personalized bib if registration occurs at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day; a self lookup area is provided for participants who do not know their bib number, and late registrants may receive bib information by text.

Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+. A separate Top Male and Top Female 5K Fireman’s Challenge receives a plaque and designates a $250 donation to the emergency service of their choice, Fire or EMS.

All proceeds go directly to the Houtzdale Fire Company. Parking is permitted on most streets with specific restrictions on Eliza St between McAteer St and Brisbin St, and on Good St between Hannah St and Eliza St as marked on the event map.
