Houston's 12K of Christmas takes place on December 19, 2026, at Sam Houston Park (1000 Bagby St, Houston, TX 77002). The event offers in-person distances and virtual options. The 12K course is two loops and the 6K course is one loop. A Kids and Family 1K walk is included. The event also lists virtual 6K and virtual 12K options and competition categories for handcycle, wheeler, visually impaired, mobility impaired, and GUIDE divisions for both distances.
Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Sun & Ski Sports (6100 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77057) on December 17, 2026; race day packet pick-up and t-shirt pickup are available for a $15 fee. Downtown parking is available, with some lots requiring payment. Awards include Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top 3 Masters Overall Male and Female, and 1st place age group winners in 10-year divisions. Age group awards must be claimed at the awards tent on race day; unclaimed awards can be shipped at the participant's expense ($9.95).
