Houston's 12K of Christmas is scheduled for December 20, 2025, at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St, Houston, TX. The 2025 edition marks the event's 13th year. The event is organized by Houston Running Co. and is part of the Houston Holiday Series as event number 9. Packet pick-up is available at Sun & Ski Sports, 6100 Westheimer Rd, and a race day packet pick-up option is offered for a $15 fee.

- 12K - two loops; in-person and virtual options; handcycle available for the 12K
- 6K - one loop; in-person and virtual options
- Kids/Family 1K - walk
All participants receive chip timing, a finisher medal for Houston's 12K of Christmas, and a unisex t-shirt. Post-race offerings include live music, hot cocoa, cookies, and Karbach beer. The event lists appearances by St. Nick and his elves and Christmas carolers. Awards are given for top 3 overall male and female, top 3 masters overall male and female, and 1st place age group winners in 10-year divisions; unclaimed awards can be shipped at the participant's expense ($9.95).
