The Houston Corporate 5K celebrates its tenth anniversary at Memorial Park in 2026. This three-day event takes place from October 20 to October 22 and is organized as a large-scale gathering for the local business community. Course and Participation
The event features a 5K run and walk on a course described as flat and fast. The route consists of one lap around the Seymour Lieberman Trail Loop, with the start line situated at the Eastern Glades within the East Memorial Park Loop. Participation is structured around company teams, with more than 240 organizations typically represented. Individuals without a specific corporate team are permitted to join through the Memorial Park Conservancy Team.
Community Impact
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Memorial Park Conservancy. A portion of all registration fees and sponsorships is allocated to the restoration and preservation of Memorial Park. Since 2017, the event has raised more than $600,000 for these conservation efforts. Participation is open to various fitness levels, including those who prefer to run, jog, or walk the distance.
