Hotfoot Hamster

The Hotfoot Hamster is a fixed-time endurance running event. Participants choose to run for 6 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours to see how far they can go.

The course is a USATF-certified, flat 500-meter crushed gravel loop on the grounds of the historic Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona. The event is described as one of two annual chances to run on this unique, custom-built track. A fully stocked aid station is located directly on the course.

Participants can set up personal tents trackside in a designated staging area for easy access. The event is cupless, so runners must carry their own bottle or reusable cup. Dietary options including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free foods are available at the aid station.

Top three performers in each race duration receive awards, with separate masters awards for participants over 40. The event features live chip timing, a gender-specific race shirt, and a post-race award ceremony. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
