Hotfoot Hamster is a fixed-time running event on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona (5601 S 195th Ave). The event offers 24-hour, 12-hour, and 6-hour race options. The course is a USATF certified 500 meter flat crushed-gravel loop with zero feet of elevation gain per loop and a listed maximum elevation of 869 feet. Online registration closes May 25 at 11:59 PM MT. Entry fees vary by date: 24 hr ($175 / $195 / $215), 12 hr ($130 / $145 / $160), 6 hr ($95 / $110 / $125).
Course and logistics
The main aid station is located on course; an express water-fill station will sit just outside the aid tent. The event is cupless - participants should carry a bottle or reusable cup; reusable cups are available for purchase onsite. The aid station offers vegan and vegetarian options and is sensitive to gluten-free needs; runners should communicate any major allergies. Portable restrooms will be on course and permanent restrooms are available on the grounds.
Crew may set up in designated areas; pacers are not allowed. A staging area for drop bags, tables, chairs and tents is provided west of the timing line. Parking is free onsite with entrance from Jackrabbit Road; vehicles may cross the course. Course lighting is present at night but some stretches are dark - a headlamp or flashlight and extra batteries are recommended. Medstar Solutions will provide onsite medical support. Top three performances and Masters (40+) awards are planned for each time category. Live chip timing and on-course live splits will be used.
