Hotfoot Hamster
Hotfoot Hamster is a fixed-time ultrarunning event at Nardini Manor in Buckeye, Arizona offering multiple timed races. The event features the following options:
- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 6 Hour
The course is a USATF certified 500 meter flat crushed gravel loop that runs around the grounds of the century-old manor. Each loop shows zero feet of elevation gain and the property contains both portable restrooms along the course and permanent restrooms on the grounds. The loop is well marked and timing mats are placed so each loop is recorded with live chip timing.
Aid and logistics are provided on course with a main aid tent, an express water-fill station, and a fully stocked aid station that includes vegan and vegetarian options and sensitivity to gluten free diets when requested. This is a cupless event, so participants should plan to carry a bottle or reusable cup. Crew may set up in designated areas near the timing line and a staging area is provided for drop bags, tables, chairs, and tents. Pacers are not allowed.
Parking is free and available onsite with entry from Jackrabbit Road. Medstar Solutions will be onsite for medical support. Online registration closes May 25 and entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Race fees vary by event and registration date and do not include tax.
Post-race features include finisher awards, a post-race award ceremony, and gender specific cut race shirts. Top three performances and masters awards are given in each timed race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
