Avondazzle Dash
Avondazzle Dash is a holiday-themed running event held at the Avondale Civic Center on December 19, 2026. The course passes through the Civic Center holiday light displays. Participants are invited to wear winter costumes.

The event includes a Frosty Finish Line Party offering a breakfast and a light show. The 1K is described as a Winter Waddle that follows a lap through the light display. Estimated attendance is 500. Vendor and exhibitor spaces are available for organizations and food vendors; unauthorized vendors will be removed.
Pets are not allowed on the course for safety; service animals are permitted. Strollers are allowed, and stroller-walkers are asked to position themselves at the back of the starting area. Volunteer roles support setup and teardown, parking, customer service, and activity leadership. Sponsorship opportunities are offered to organizations wishing to support city events.
