The Hot Trot is the 9th annual running event held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Norbuck Park in Dallas, Texas. All three in-person courses are USATF certified and run along scenic sections of White Rock Lake.

All race participants, including virtual finishers, receive a finisher medal and a gender specific tech tank top. The finish area provides ice cold towels and popsicles, and there is course support for hydration and cooling. An after party follows the races with exhibitors, music, and food.
The event benefits the Assist the Officer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to officers and families facing loss of income due to death, serious injury, or other catastrophic events.
