2026 Hot Trot - Event details
The 2026 Hot Trot Half Marathon, 10K & 5K is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026 in Dallas, Texas at Norbuck Park on N Buckner Blvd. The event is the 9th annual Hot Trot and benefits the Assist the Officer Foundation. All three courses are USATF certified and run along views of White Rock Lake. The race includes course support to keep participants hydrated and cool, and finish-line amenities such as ice-cold towels and popsicles. An after-party will feature exhibitors, music, and food.

All in-person participants receive a custom bib, a finisher medal, and a gender-specific tech tank. A virtual entry option is available; virtual registration includes a virtual bib, shirt, and finisher medal.
