Hot Trot Half Marathon, 10K, 5K - Dallas, Texas
The Hot Trot Half Marathon, 10K and 5K is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. This is the 9th annual running of the event and it takes place at Norbuck Park in Dallas, Texas. All three courses are USATF certified.

Course routes run along White Rock Lake and include multiple aid and cooling stations. The finish area provides ice-cold towels and popsicles. All race participants, including virtual finishers, receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech tank top.
A post-race party follows the courses, featuring exhibitors, music, and food. Event proceeds benefit the Assist the Officer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to officers and families facing loss of income due to death, serious injury, or other catastrophic events.
A virtual race option is offered for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The published virtual package price is $46 and includes a shirt, medal, bib, and shipping within the US continental area; virtual packets are scheduled to ship approximately four to six weeks after the event date.
