Hot Trot Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Memory Mile
The Hot Trot event takes place in Dallas, Texas at Norbuck Park on Saturday, August 22, 2026. It includes multiple distances and a virtual option, with course sections that run along White Rock Lake.

The half, 10K, and 5K courses are USATF certified. All race participants, including virtual finishers and Memory Mile entrants, receive a finisher medal and a gender-specific tech tank top. Virtual entries include a shirt, medal, bib, and shipping; virtual packets are scheduled to ship approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the event.
On-course support includes hydration and cooling resources. At the finish there are ice-cold towels and popsicles. The post-race area features exhibitors, music, and food.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Assist the Officer Foundation, which provides financial assistance to officers and families facing loss of income due to death, serious injury, or other catastrophic events.
