Washington D.C. Hot Cider Hustle
The Washington D.C. Hot Cider Hustle is scheduled for October 31, 2026, with start and finish at National Harbor in Washington, D.C. The event offers chip timed 5K and 10K race categories plus fun run options and live participant tracking via the RaceJoy app. The courses run along the Potomac River on paved roads and paths and are described as flat.
Finish line provisions include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a finisher mug; a 5K and 10K finisher medal is available as an add-on. Event gear options list a classic t-shirt or an upgrade to a thin-tec 1/4 zip. All water stations provide water. There is no gear check on site. The event operates rain, snow or shine and may be delayed for dangerous weather such as lightning.
Time limits are posted for each course: 5K up to 1 hour 20 minutes and 10K up to 1 hour 50 minutes. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for chip timed categories; age brackets range from 10 and under through 70 plus. Registration offers packet mailing for a fee and pre-event packet pick-up options. The race supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, D.C.
