Washington D.C. Hot Cider Hustle
The Washington D.C. Hot Cider Hustle is scheduled for October 31, 2026, with the start and finish at National Harbor in Washington D.C. The event features chip-timed and fun run categories on a flat, paved course that runs along the Potomac River.
Finish-line offerings include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a finisher mug. A 5K or 10K finisher medal is available as an add-on. Free digital race photos are offered after the event though photos are not guaranteed. Live participant tracking is available through the RaceJoy app.
Packet pickup options include mailed packets for a $19 fee, pre-event pickup, or event-morning pickup. All courses are entirely on paved roads or paths and all water stations include water. There is no gear check at the event site. The run takes place rain, snow or shine and may be delayed for dangerous conditions such as lightning.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups for the chip-timed 5K and 10K categories. A finisher mug is awarded to all finishers. Other participant rules include a required online waiver, no dogs, and strollers allowed for walkers and joggers only with a guardian waiver.
Volunteers assist at water stations, participant check-in and course marshalling and receive a free event shirt. The event supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
