SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run - Tampa
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Tampa is a chocolate-themed road race that starts and finishes at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park and follows a waterfront route. The course passes Platt Street Bridge and Bayshore Boulevard and offers views of Harbour and Davis Islands, Columbus Statue Park, the City of Tampa’s Pirate Ship, the Bayshore Fitness Trail, and the Historic Hye Park North neighborhood.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
Every registration includes a full-zip fleece and a finisher's medal. The finish area features a post-race party with hot chocolate, a chocolate fondue finisher’s mug, dippables, music, and vendor areas. Free high-resolution race photos and official race times are provided to participants by email after the race. Live runner tracking will be available the week of the event.
A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade is offered with perks such as a branded canvas tote with single-serve cocoa, a store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated club area, and an upgraded onsite experience that may include a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, dedicated restrooms, premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, and extra dippables.
An expo and packet pick-up are scheduled before race day. Overall and age-group awards are presented for the 5K, 10K, and 15K, with cash prizes and registration rewards for top overall finishers and patches or discounted registration for age-group placers.
