St. Louis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run is an annual sports event taking place on December 6, 2026, in Downtown St. Louis. The event features professionally timed and managed courses through the city center, with a central hub at Kaufman Park. Runners can choose between two main distances:
- 5 km
- 15 km
The routes transition through several notable St. Louis landmarks. Participants will pass Energizer Park, home of St. Louis CITY FC, as well as Union Station and Saint Louis University. The 15 km course provides an extended route that includes Washington Avenue, Ballpark Village, and the Soulard area.
A post-race party follows the event, where participants receive a finisher's mug containing hot chocolate and chocolate fondue with dippables. Registration includes an exclusive full-zip jacket and a commemorative finisher's medal. Additional amenities provided to all participants include a race bib and free high-resolution race photos.
The event employs an Event Alert System (EAS) to communicate course conditions based on weather. For those seeking additional amenities, an upgrade is available for access to a dedicated lounge with breakfast items and preferred corral placement.
