Hot Chocolate Run – St. Louis
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Downtown St. Louis is scheduled for December 6, 2026 and offers timed road races on professionally managed courses. The event includes a post-race party with music, vendors, and a Chocoholic finisher’s mug filled with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. Packet pickup is handled at a public expo; there is no race day packet pickup. Packet mailing is available for a fee and has a registration deadline of November 15, 2026.
Race kits include an exclusive full-zip jacket and a finisher’s medal, plus a commemorative race bib and free race photos delivered to participants. The event uses a color-coded Event Alert System to communicate course conditions and weather related updates to participants through race week communications, public address announcements, and signs along the course.
Courses tour Downtown St. Louis and pass landmarks such as Energizer Park, Soldiers Memorial, Saint Louis University, and Union Station. The 15K route additionally runs down Washington Avenue and through Ballpark Village and the Soulard area. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 15K with cash prizes and complimentary registration offers, and age group awards are distributed to top finishers across standard age brackets.
