St. Louis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place in Downtown St. Louis, offering participants a professionally managed and timed race experience. The event features two primary distances through the city's urban landscape:
- 5 km
- 15 km
The courses provide a tour of several local landmarks. Participants pass by Energizer Park, home of the St. Louis CITY FC, as well as Union Station and Saint Louis University. Those participating in the 15 km distance follow an extended route that includes Washington Avenue, Ballpark Village, and the Soulard area.
Every registered runner receives a participant kit that includes a full-zip jacket and a commemorative medal. The finish line features a post-race celebration where participants receive a finisher's mug containing hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, and various dippables. Free high-resolution race photos and timing results are provided to all runners after the event.
The event includes an Expo where participants must pick up their race bibs and swag, as there is no packet pickup available on the day of the race. For those unable to attend the Expo, a packet mailing option is available for an additional fee if selected by the November deadline. Transportation options to the event area include a pre-purchased shuttle service from America's Center, the Metrolink train to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station, and ride-share services.
