St. Louis SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run - December 6, 2026
The event in downtown St. Louis offers timed road races over two distances and a post-race celebration with chocolate-themed finishes. The race course starts near Kaufman Park and tours downtown St. Louis, passing landmarks such as Energizer Park, Union Station, and Saint Louis University. The longer course includes Washington Avenue, Ballpark Village, and the Soulard area.

Included race kit items listed for registrants include a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. Finishers receive a mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate at the post-race party, which also features music and vendor activity. Free high-resolution race photos and electronic race timing are provided.
A VIP upgrade called the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club adds premium Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a canvas tote with take-home cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area before and after the event, and an upgraded onsite experience that may include a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, and dedicated restrooms.
Packet pick-up and the Hot Chocolate Expo take place the day before the race at America’s Center in St. Louis. Overall awards and age-group awards are given for the 5K and 15K, with cash prizes and registration incentives for top overall finishers.
