Hot Chocolate Run - Houston
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Houston is scheduled for January 30, 2027, with start and finish located at Sam Houston Park. The event offers multiple race distances and a course that runs along Allen Parkway and the Buffalo Bayou, passing landmarks such as St. John Church.

The finish area and post-race party are held at Sam Houston Park and include a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. The post-race area features music and vendors in one of Houston’s historic parks.
Each registration includes a race kit with a full-zip fleece and a finisher's medal. The event is held on a professionally managed course and uses professional timing. Free high-resolution race photos are provided to participants after the event. Live runner tracking is offered for real-time updates during the race.
A Hot Chocolate Expo and packet pick-up is scheduled for January 29, 2027; the expo is free and open to the public and includes packet collection and merchandise. There is no race day packet pick-up; packets must be picked up at the expo or mailed in advance.
The event awards overall and age group prizes for the 5K, 10K, and 10 mile. Overall top three male and female finishers receive cash prizes and free registration for the following year; age group awards include registration discounts and commemorative patches.
