Houston SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The event is a city road race centered at Sam Houston Park in Houston. The course starts and finishes at Sam Houston Park and runs along Allen Parkway with views of Buffalo Bayou. Course highlights include St. John Church and sections along the bayou.

Finishers receive a commemorative medal and a finisher mug served with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. Each registration includes an event swag kit that features a full-zip fleece jacket and race bib. The race uses professional timing and provides free high-resolution race photos emailed to participants. Live runner tracking is available the week of the race.
A post race party at Sam Houston Park features music, vendors, and onsite food and beverage offerings. Overall awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and registration benefits; age group awards are given to top three finishers in standard age divisions and include registration discounts and commemorative patches. An expo and packet pick-up is held before race day for kit collection and vendor displays. A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade is available as a VIP option and includes additional onsite amenities such as premium cocoa, dedicated corral placement, a tote with cocoa, a store credit, and an upgraded onsite experience.
