Columbus SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The event takes place on November 15, 2026, at McFerson Commons in Columbus, Ohio. Runners can choose from these distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course begins in the Riverfront District and finishes alongside Nationwide Arena in the downtown area. The route passes through or near Downtown Columbus and several neighborhoods, including the River South District, Brewery District, German Village, Uptown District, Victorian Village, and Short North, and features local landmarks such as the Union Station Arch and Goodale Park.
Race-day offerings include a post-race party at McFerson Commons with music, vendors, a Chocoholic finisher's mug filled with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. An expo and packet pickup are scheduled for November 14, 2026, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Battelle Ballroom; the expo is free and open to the public. The standard race kit includes a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. Free high-resolution finish photos and official race times will be emailed to participants. Live runner tracking is available for participants and followers.
Additional features include overall and age-group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and an optional Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade that provides a tote with cocoa, a store credit, preferred corral placement, and an upgraded onsite experience.
