Columbus SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run takes place on November 15, 2026 at McFerson Commons in Columbus, Ohio. The event offers timed road race distances and a post race party at the finish area.

The route starts in the Riverfront District and finishes alongside Nationwide Arena. Runners pass through Downtown Columbus and neighborhoods including the River South District, Brewery District, German Village, Uptown District, Victorian Village, and Short North. Course highlights list Goodale Park, Schiller Park, Nationwide Arena, and the Union Station Arch.
Every registration includes a swag kit with a full zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. At the finish athletes receive a finisher mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate at the post race party held at McFerson Commons near the Union Station Arch. Free high resolution photos and official race times are emailed to participants after they cross the finish line. Live runner tracking is available.
The Ghirardelli Cocoa Club is a paid upgrade offering a canvas tote with single serve cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated club area, and an upgraded onsite experience that can include a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, and dedicated restrooms.
Expo and packet pickup are scheduled at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Battelle Ballroom on November 14, 2026. Packet mailing is available by deadline and there is no race day packet pickup. Overall and age group awards are presented for the 5K, 10K, and 15K with cash and registration prizes for top overall finishers and place prizes for age group competitors.
