Hot Chocolate Run – Columbus (November 15, 2026)
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Columbus is a timed road race held at McFerson Commons with race distances of:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The event includes a packet-pickup expo on Saturday, November 14 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center Battelle Ballroom. Every registered participant receives a race kit that features a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. At the finish line participants are offered a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate as part of the post-race party held near the Union Station Arch and Nationwide Arena.
The course runs through Columbus downtown neighborhoods and districts, including the Riverfront District, Brewery District, German Village, Victorian Village, Short North, Goodale Park, and Schiller Park. The race is professionally managed and professionally timed; free high-resolution race photos and official race times are emailed to participants after they cross the finish line. Live runner tracking will be available the week of the race.
A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrade is offered with added on-site amenities such as a canvas tote with Ghirardelli cocoa, VIP preferred corral placement, dedicated Cocoa Club area, upgraded on-site food and beverage items, and other exclusive perks. Overall and age-group awards are given for top finishers in each distance, with specified prize packages for overall winners and discount rewards for age-group placings.
