About the race
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Columbus is scheduled for November 15, 2026, at McFerson Commons (218 West Street, Columbus, OH 43215). The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course tours Downtown Columbus and nearby neighborhoods, with highlights that include Goodale Park, Schiller Park, the Riverfront District, Nationwide Arena, and the Union Station Arch. The finish area and post-race party take place at McFerson Commons and feature a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.
Race registrations include a swag kit with a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. Free high-resolution race photos and official race times are provided to participants by email. Live runner tracking sign-up will be available the week of the race.
A Hot Chocolate Expo and packet pickup are scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Battelle Ballroom (400 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215). The event lists overall and age-group awards for the 5K, 10K, and 15K, with cash prizes and registration incentives for overall top finishers and placement-based awards for age-group top finishers.
