Columbus SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run : November 15, 2026, McFerson Commons, Columbus, OH
The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course starts in the Riverfront District and finishes alongside Nationwide Arena, passing the Scioto River, Rich Street Bridge, Bicentennial Park, Union Station Arch, and neighborhoods such as Brewery District, German Village, Victorian Village, Short North, and Uptown District. Races are professionally managed and professionally timed. Free high-resolution race photos and official results are provided to participants after the finish.
Logistics, extras and awards
An Expo and packet pickup is scheduled for November 14, 2026 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center; there is no race day packet pickup. The event includes a post-race party at McFerson Commons with music, vendors, and a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. Registration includes a full-zip SKECHERS jacket and a finisher's medal; VIP Ghirardelli Cocoa Club upgrades offer additional amenities and a VIP area.
Live runner tracking will be available with a sign-up link released the week of the race. Organizers encourage public transportation and carpooling and list several suggested parking garages near the start and expo.
Overall awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with cash prizes and complimentary registration for next year. Age group awards are also given to the top three in standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
