Powell Turkey Trot
Powell Turkey Trot marks its 12th anniversary and is scheduled for Thanksgiving, November 26, 2026, at Village Green Park adjacent to the City of Powell Municipal Building, 47 Hall Street, Powell, Ohio 43065.
The event features multiple running options:
- 4 mile race beginning and ending at Village Green Park
- Gobble Til You Wobble Kids Race around the small pond and shelter house
The 4 mile event is a timed race with cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers: $400 for first, $350 for second, and $300 for third. The organizers continue a tradition of partnering with local elementary schools to produce runner magnets designed by students.
Swag for participants includes a specially designed 12th-anniversary race medal, a SWAG bag with sponsor-provided items, and a choice between an exclusive four-pack of fall beers from Nocterra Brewing Company or a pair of commemorative race socks. Nocterra will brew a new beer for the race and the four-pack is available for the first 800 participants over 21. Nothing Bundt Cakes will provide mini Pumpkin Bundtinies.
Packet pickup is at the East Community Room, 47 Hall St, Powell on Tuesday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 25 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. There will be no race day packet pickup or registration.
