SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run : Charlotte
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Charlotte takes place on February 13, 2027, with start and finish in First Ward Park. The event offers timed races over three distances and a post-race party with food and vendors held at the park.

Every registration includes a full-zip SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run jacket and a finisher's medal. Finishers receive a mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. The event provides a commemorative race bib, free race photos, professional course management, and official timing.
The course begins and ends in the First Ward Park area near the Spectrum Center and passes through Center City and nearby neighborhoods. The 15K course visits Country Club Heights, Villa Heights, and Plaza Midwood; the 5K route includes a segment through Belmont. An interactive course map and PDF maps are provided for reference.
A VIP upgrade, the Ghirardelli Cocoa Club, adds premium on-site amenities such as rich Ghirardelli hot cocoa, a dedicated lounge area, VIP corral placement, a shopping bag with single-serve cocoa, a $35 onsite store credit, and upgraded onsite facilities.
Packet pickup and the Hot Chocolate Expo are scheduled at the Charlotte Convention Center Hall C2 on Friday, February 12, 2027, where runner kits and event merchandise are distributed. There is no race day packet pickup. Overall and age-group awards are given for top finishers in each distance, with cash prizes and registration benefits for overall top placers.
