Charlotte SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run
The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Charlotte is scheduled for February 13, 2027, with race activities centered at First Ward Park in Charlotte, NC. The event offers three distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
The course routes pass through First Ward Park and Center City and include neighborhoods such as Country Club Heights, Villa Heights, Plaza Midwood, and a 5K route through Belmont. The finish area and the post-race party are located at First Ward Park and feature music, vendors, and a Chocoholic finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.
Registered participants receive a race kit that includes a full-zip fleece jacket and a finisher's medal. A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade is available; perks listed for this option include a canvas tote with take-home Ghirardelli cocoa, a $35 onsite store credit, VIP corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area, a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, dedicated restrooms, and extra dippables.
Expo and packet pick-up are scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2027, with packet mailing offered for a fee through January 24, 2027. Free high-resolution photos and individual race times will be emailed to participants. Overall awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in each distance, and age group awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers across specified age divisions.
