Hot Chocolate Run - Charlotte

The finish area and post race party take place at First Ward Park and include a finisher's mug with chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate. The event site list includes Center City, Cordelia Park, Spectrum Center and route sections through neighborhoods such as Country Club Heights, Villa Heights, Plaza Midwood, and Belmont for the 5K.
Every registration includes a full zip jacket and a finisher's medal, a commemorative race bib, free race photos, and professionally timed races on a professionally managed course. An on site expo and packet pickup is held the day before the race at the Charlotte Convention Center Hall C2; the expo is free and open to the public and there is no race day packet pickup. Packet mailing is offered for an additional fee and has a registration deadline.
The event includes overall awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance with monetary prizes for top finishers, and age group awards across multiple age categories. A Ghirardelli Cocoa Club VIP upgrade is available with premium hot cocoa, a shopping bag, a store credit, preferred corral placement, access to a club area, and upgraded onsite amenities.
