Hot Chocolate Run – Atlanta

Event

The SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run in Atlanta takes place on February 1, 2026, at Centennial Olympic Park (285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW). The event offers two distance options:

• 5K
• 15K

Both distances pass by Atlanta landmarks such as the Mercedes Benz Stadium, GWCC and the Georgia Aquarium. The 15K route also includes City Hall, the Olympic Torch, Old Turner Field/Hank Aaron Wall, Grant Park, Georgia Tech campus, and Bobby Dodd Stadium. The event includes a post-race party at Centennial Olympic Park with music, vendors, and a finisher mug containing chocolate fondue, dippables, and hot chocolate.

Amenities and extras

Registrations include a full-zip jacket and a finisher's medal as part of the race kit. A paid Cocoa Club upgrade (Ghirardelli Cocoa Club) offers additional onsite amenities including a branded shopping bag with single-serve Ghirardelli cocoa, a $35 hot chocolate store credit, VIP preferred corral placement, access to a dedicated Cocoa Club area before and after the event, and upgraded onsite items such as a hot breakfast item, heaters if needed, dedicated restrooms, and extra dippables. Free high-resolution race photos and race times are emailed to participants after the finish.

Logistics

Expo and packet pickup are at Southern Exchange Ballrooms - The Cellar (155 Carnegie Way) on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, 2026. There is no race day packet pickup. Centennial Olympic Park is a 5-10 minute walk from GWCC/CNN or Peachtree Center transit stations; public transportation and carpooling are encouraged.

Awards

Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance with prize amounts for 1st–3rd place and free registration for next year. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers across multiple age divisions, with registration discounts and patches for 1st–3rd place.
