The Hot2Trot Run/Walk in Cottage Grove includes the following events:

The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Firemen's Park in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. Proceeds benefit the Cottage Grove Volunteer Fire Department; the event has contributed over $90,000 to the department and funded items such as a thermal imaging camera and drone imaging.
Course, registration and logistics
The half marathon follows the 5K route initially, then continues onto Taylor Street, Ridge Road and about 7 miles on the Glacial Drumlin State Trail before returning to Clark Street at the start/finish area. All finishers receive a finishing medal; trophies are awarded to the top overall male and female in the 5K and half marathon. Age group awards are listed for multiple brackets.
Registration is handled online only. Shirt distribution is limited: participants who register by June 1 receive a race t-shirt; fewer shirts are available after that date. Packet pickup is available before race day at the Cottage Grove Fire Station. RaceJoy live GPS tracking and progress alerts are offered for the event; participants must carry a phone to use RaceJoy.
