Hornet Dash
The eleventh annual Hornet Dash takes place on June 7, 2026 at Highland High School, 4150 Ridge Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. The event is presented by the Highland Alumni Association in partnership with the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence.
Event options include:
- 1-Mile Fun Run - four laps around the track.
- 5K - chip-timed, starts and finishes at the stadium; road and trail course.
- 5K Virtual - virtual option with separate registration.
On-site registration and packet pick-up occur inside the stadium. Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt. The event features community-oriented activities such as balloon art and face painting. Coffee, Gatorade and breakfast food items will be available for purchase. Kona Ice will be present and will donate all proceeds to the Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence. Proceeds from the event benefit the Foundation.
