Hopton 10k

Hopton 10K 2026

Hopton 10K is a one lap 10 km multi terrain race held in and around the village of Hopton, Mirfield, West Yorkshire on 27 September 2026. The route mixes woodland bridleways and quiet roads, with roughly 60% track and 40% road, and an undulating profile that includes a few steady climbs.

The event uses chip timing and provides a finisher T shirt. Race facilities at the school site include toilets, changing rooms, baggage storage, distance markers and water stations. There is a café offering hot drinks and bacon butties. Parking is free for around 70 cars with additional on-street parking nearby.

Entry is limited to 500 runners and the minimum age for participants is 15. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs and holds a pending race licence. Entry fees are listed as £21 for affiliated runners and £23 for unaffiliated runners; on the day entry may be available for an additional £2 if the event has not sold out. The stated entry price includes race fees, card charges and administration with no hidden extras.
