Hopton 10K 2026
The Hopton 10K takes place on Sunday 27th September 2026 in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, with race headquarters at Hopton Primary School. The event is in its seventh year and covers a single 10 kilometre lap.
The course is multi terrain and described as undulating, with mixed surfaces roughly 60% track and 40% road and a few steady climbs. Chip timing is used and finishers receive a T-shirt. The event offers on-site refreshments including a café and bacon butties.
Facilities at the race include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers. Free parking is available for around 70 cars and on-street parking is available nearby. The minimum age for runners is 15 and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 500 participants; at the time of listing there were around 480 places remaining.
Entry fees listed are £21.00 for affiliated runners and £23.00 for unaffiliated runners. The organisers state that proceeds from the event support Hopton Primary School. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
