Hopton 10K 2026
Hopton 10K is the seventh running of a 10 kilometre multi terrain race around the village of Hopton, Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The course covers a single lap and uses a mix of woodland bridleways and quiet roads with an undulating profile.
The route is roughly 60% track and 40% road and includes a few steady climbs. The event uses chip timing and offers an optional finisher's T‑shirt. It is not suitable for wheelchairs and the minimum age for runners is 15. The race holds a licence and has an entry limit of 500.
Facilities at Race HQ, Hopton Primary School, include toilets, changing rooms, baggage storage and distance markers. Water stations are provided along the route. There are no showers on site. Parking is free for around 70 cars and additional on‑street parking is available nearby. A café on the site serves tea, coffee and bacon butties.
All proceeds from the event go to support Hopton Primary School. Entry fees are tiered with lower rates for club affiliated entries and options without a T‑shirt.
