About the race
Hopton 10K is scheduled for Sunday 27th September 2026 in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The race is the event's seventh running and covers a single lap of 10 Kilometres over mixed surfaces.
The course is multi terrain and undulating, with approximately 60% track and 40% road. Runners encounter quiet roads and woodland bridleways around the village of Hopton, including a few steady climbs. Chip timing is used for results.
Race headquarters are at Hopton Primary School, Woodend Road, Mirfield WF14 8PR. Facilities at the event include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, and baggage storage; there are no showers. A café will be available and bacon butties will be served. Free parking is provided for around 70 cars, with additional on-street parking nearby.
Entry is limited to 500 places and the minimum age for runners is 15. Entry fees vary by category and an optional finisher’s T-shirt is offered. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.
