Hopton 10K, Mirfield (27 September 2026)
The Hopton 10K is a single-lap, timed 10 kilometre race around the village of Hopton in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. The route runs on quiet roads and woodland bridleways and is a mix of track and road surface, described as approximately 60% track and 40% road. The course profile is undulating with a few steady climbs.
The event has a race licence and an entry limit set at 500 participants. The minimum age for runners is 15 and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Chip timing is used and an optional finisher’s T-shirt is available. All proceeds go to support Hopton Primary School.
Facilities at the race headquarters, Hopton Primary School, include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and baggage storage; there are no showers. There is free parking for around 70 cars and additional on street parking nearby. A café offering tea, coffee and food items such as bacon butties is present on site.
