Hope Rescued 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place on September 5, 2026 at Baringer Hill Overlook Pavilion in Cherokee Park, Louisville, KY. It includes in person and virtual options and benefits Hope Rescued, a Louisville nonprofit working on homelessness and human trafficking.

The in person 5K is chip timed and runs on paved park trails. Awards are given to the overall top male and female finishers. Walkers and strollers are welcomed on the 5K course. The 2K is an untimed walk on paved surfaces with no awards; walkers, strollers, and wagons are welcomed and participants line up behind 5K runners. The Kids Dash is an untimed 50 meter dash for children ages 9 and under. That event is free and does not include shirts, bibs, or awards; registration is requested for head count. Virtual participants can complete their own 5K on a personal schedule and the organizer will mail race packets and shirts unless local pickup is available.
Registration opens April 23, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by event, with some closing in mid August and some remaining open through September 5, 2026.
