Hope Is Here is a community run and walk presented by the Postpartum Resource Center of New York with the Village of Islandia. The event raises awareness of parental mental health and includes a children's fun run.

Amenities include a commemorative race T-shirt for a limited number of registrants, a race swag bag for the first 350 registrants, a PRCNY merch prize for fundraisers who raise $500, team entries, live text and email results, and free finish line photos. Personalized bibs are available for those who register at least three weeks in advance; last-minute registrants who sign up within 24 hours receive their bib number by text.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female, top male and female in multiple age divisions, the top individual fundraiser, and the top team fundraiser.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff onsite and a bib number is required for pickup; participants can use self lookup or bib lookup if needed. The course route is published online. The Postpartum Resource Center of New York describes its mission as increasing awareness and access to care for parents at risk for or experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through education, screening, support programs, and community partnerships.
