Hope Is Here 5K - Islandia
Hope Is Here is a community 5K Run/Walk/Stroller Walk with a Kid's Fun Run presented by the Postpartum Resource Center of New York and the Village of Islandia. The event supports awareness of parental mental health and is held at First Responders Memorial Park and Ball Field in Islandia, NY.

Event amenities include a commemorative race t-shirt for the first 150 registrants and a race swag bag for the first 350 registrants. Fundraisers who raise at least $500 receive a Postpartum Resource Center of New York merchandise prize. Teams may be formed for fundraising and competition. Results are available live and by text or email. Finish line photos are provided free of charge. Personalized bibs are available for those registered three weeks in advance.
Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers, age-group winners across standard age brackets, the top individual fundraiser, and the top team fundraiser.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event. A bib number is required for pickup; last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text within about 90 seconds.
