Hope Is Here 5K Run/Walk/Stroller-Walk 2027

Hope Is Here 5K is a community run, walk and stroller-walk event with a Kid's Fun Run presented by the Postpartum Resource Center of New York and the Village of Islandia. The event is held in Islandia, NY at First Responders Memorial Park and Ball Field and is organized to raise awareness of parental mental health.

Event services and features include a limited commemorative race T-shirt for the first 150 registrants and a race swag bag for the first 350 registrants. Fundraisers who raise $500 are eligible to receive a PRCNY merchandised prize. Teams may be formed for group participation. Results are provided live online and via text and email, and finish line photos and video are provided free the same day. Participants who register at least three weeks before the event can request personalized bibs; bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event. Last-minute registrants who register within 24 hours can receive their bib number by text within approximately 90 seconds.

Awards are presented for top overall male and female, age-group winners across standard divisions, and for top individual and team fundraisers. Course route details and additional event materials are made available by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
