Hope Hustle 5K - Grand Prairie
The Hope Hustle 5K is a community run and walk held at Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event includes a 5K run and a separate free Kids Dream Dash for young children, along with music, food trucks, vendors, and a finish line celebration.
Event offerings include:
- 5K run and walk
- Kids Dream Dash, 100 to 200 meter
All 5K finishers receive a custom Hope Hustle race shirt and a finisher medal. Children who participate in the Dream Dash do not receive a shirt or medal. The event also provides a Dream Big photo experience and free race photos for participants and families.
A portion of proceeds supports Hope to the Nations, with programs that aim to reduce poverty through education, exposure, and community resources. Packet pickup is planned before the event with details to be announced; race day packet pickup is scheduled 6:15am to 7:15am at Epic Central behind The Finch and Vidorra, 2959 S State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
Volunteer roles include packet pickup, aid station support, and course monitoring to help keep the course clean and safe. Awards are given for first place overall male and female and first through third in age divisions 10 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus.
