Hope Hustle 5K - Grand Prairie
The Hope Hustle 5K is a community run/walk held at Epic Central in Grand Prairie, Texas on September 26, 2026. The event includes a 5K run/walk, a kids dash for children 9 and under, vendors, food trucks, music by a DJ, finish line celebration, and a Dream Big photo experience for children.
Event features:
- 5K run/walk with a custom race shirt and finisher medal for all finishers.
- 100 m Kids Dash for children 9 and under; participants in the kids dash do not receive a shirt or medal.
- Virtual run option available for remote participation.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Chicken and Pickle and on race day at Epic Central; t-shirt distribution is first come, first served. Awards are given for overall male and female first places and top three in age divisions from 10–19 through 80+. The largest registered team receives a complimentary stay in the Dominican Republic.
Volunteer roles include packet pickup, aid station duties (providing water and keeping the course clean), and course monitors to help maintain course safety. A portion of proceeds supports the mission of Hope to the Nations, which focuses on reducing poverty through education, exposure, and community resources.
The event has a strict no-refund policy. In extreme weather the course or schedule may be altered or the event canceled for participant safety; participants unable to attend can use virtual race options to receive their packet and complete the distance on their own.
