Hope Hustle 5K: Running Toward Brighter Futures
The Hope Hustle 5K is a community event at Epic Central in Grand Prairie that combines a 5K run/walk with family activities, vendors, music, food trucks, and a finish line celebration. The event includes a free kids Dream Dash for young children and a virtual run option for remote participants.
Distances offered:
- 5K run/walk; finishers receive a race shirt and finisher medal.
- 100 m Kids Dream Dash; participants do not receive a t-shirt or medal.

Volunteer roles include packet pickup, aid station support to provide water and keep the course clean, and course monitors to help maintain a safe course. There are awards for top finishers overall and division awards by age groups, and teams compete with a prize for the largest registered team.
A portion of proceeds supports the mission of Hope to the Nations, which focuses on reducing poverty through education, exposure, and community resources. The event has a strict no refund policy; in unsafe conditions the course may be altered or the event canceled.
