Hope for Haiti 5K and Fun Run : Saint Augustine, FL
The Hope for Haiti 5K and Fun Run is a charity running event held in Saint Augustine at Anastasia Church and Anastasia State Park. The event supports the ongoing care and education of more than 50 children at the Hope for Haiti orphanage and raises funds for food, shelter, education, and daily care.
Event offerings include:
- 5K run/walk through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhoods
- 1 Mile Fun Run for all ages
- No-run options with shirt mailing or packet pickup
The 5K follows a scenic 3.1 mile certified course through shaded roads with a natural hammock canopy, turns and hills, and quiet neighborhood streets. The course finishes in the back lot of Anastasia Church. Anastasia Church provides a shaded start and finish area, on-site facilities, and ample parking.
Packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the event at Anastasia Church. The race will be professionally timed and scored using disposable electronic tags attached to bibs; printed results will be posted at the race site and live online. Awards will be presented to top finishers overall and by age category, with specific awards for overall male, overall female, and masters.
