Hope College Donut Run 5K 2026
The Hope College Donut Run 5K is a campus road race in Holland MI held as part of One Big Weekend Homecoming and Family Weekend. Proceeds benefit Hope College Dance Marathon, a fundraiser for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
The 5K course tours Hope College campus, includes aid stations serving donut holes, and finishes on the 50 yard line at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. Registration for the 5K includes professional chip timing, a long sleeved t shirt, and donuts along the route and at the finish. Shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations after October 2 and a no shirt option is available for a reduced fee through that date.
Packet pick up is available on Friday October 16 at the Bultman Student Center and at the One Big Weekend hub in the Haworth Hotel, and on race day at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. No refunds are given and the event will run rain or shine.
The weekend also includes a short kids fun run. The Donut Hole 0.5K is free for children ages 2 to 8, is not timed, and participants receive a small medal. Awards are given for overall and masters winners based on gun time and for age groups based on chip time; unclaimed awards must be picked up by October 24 at the Student Life Office.
