Hope College Donut Run 5K 2026
The Hope College Donut Run 5K is scheduled for October 17, 2026, at 313 Fairbanks Avenue in Holland, Michigan. The event is part of One Big Weekend (Homecoming and Family Weekend) and raises funds for Hope College Dance Marathon, a fundraiser for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. No refunds are given and proceeds benefit the Dance Marathon program.
The 5K course tours Hope College campus, includes donut holes at aid stations, and finishes on the 50 yard line at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. Registration fees include professional chip timing, a long-sleeved t-shirt, and donuts along the route and at the finish. Registrations after October 2 are not guaranteed a race shirt; a No Shirt option reduces the fee by $5 through October 2.
Packet pick-up is available the day before and the day of the event at campus locations, including the Bultman Student Center, the One Big Weekend Hub at the Haworth Hotel, and Ray and Sue Smith Stadium.
A Donut Hole 0.5K kids fun run is offered free for ages 2 to 8; it is not timed and each participating child receives a medal. Awards include overall male and female winners, masters (40+), and age group awards for the top two finishers in each listed age group, with award distribution based on chip time.
