Hope College Donut Run 5K 2026
The Hope College Donut Run is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 313 Fairbanks Avenue, Holland, MI. The event is part of One Big Weekend, Hope College's Homecoming and Family Weekend, and all proceeds benefit Dance Marathon for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
The main event is a 5K that tours Hope's campus, includes donut holes at aid stations along the route, and finishes on the 50-yard line inside Ray and Sue Smith Stadium. Registration includes professional chip timing, a long-sleeved t-shirt, and donuts along the route and at the finish. A "No Shirt" option is available through October 2 for a $5 reduction; participants who register after October 2 are not guaranteed a shirt and may check shirt availability at the registration tent after the run. No refunds are given and the event will run rain or shine.
A Donut Hole .5K kids fun run is offered free for children ages 2 to 8. That fun run is not timed, participants receive a small medal, and children will be divided into two age groups; parents may assist if needed.
Packet pick-up is available the day before and the morning of the event at designated Hope College locations. Overall and masters awards, plus age group awards based on chip time, are distributed with a specified pickup window and a post-event claim deadline.
