Hoot Lake Triathlon 30th Anniversary
The 30th annual Hoot Lake Triathlon takes place on July 26, 2026 at Hoot Lake Public Access at Godel Park in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The event is presented by the YMCA of the Northern Sky and will raise funds to support LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a 12-week physical activity program for adult cancer survivors.
The event offers individual and team relay options. Relay teams are made up of two to three competitors; the team captain registers and other members register online and select the team name. Packet pickup is available on July 25 at the Fergus Falls YMCA and also before the race. Participants must be registered by July 5 to receive a race shirt. Registration fees vary by period: early, regular, and late pricing apply for individual and relay entries.
