Event overview
The Ho'omau 5K, 10K & Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii (91-1621 Keone'ula Blvd, Ewa Beach, HI 96706). The event is organized by Aloha Racing and is the fourth annual running of Ho'omau. The course is held at Wai Kai / One'ula on the west O'ahu shoreline and is described as flat and fast, following the coastline near a waterfront recreation facility. The event is presented alongside a sister event called Makoa held in November.

Registration and fees
Initial registration opened on May 29, 2025. Base event fees before December 10, 2025 are: 5K $35 (plus $3.10 signup fee), 10K $55 (plus $4.30 signup fee), and Half Marathon $85 (plus $6.10 signup fee). Prices increase after December 9, 2025 and continue to rise in later registration windows; the late pre-event fees shown for the period beginning April 10, 2026 are: 5K $65, 10K $85, and Half Marathon $115 (each with an additional signup fee). Group discounts are available during the registration period: Ohana (5-9 registrants) receives a $5 discount per person and Ohana Nui (10+ registrants) receives a $10 discount per person.
