Honouring Traditions PowWow Run 2026
The event takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Henderson Lake Park, with the start and finish located at the Kinsman Shelter area. It is a community run and walk framed around pow wow traditions, intended to bring people together in dance, song, and ceremony.

Participation is limited to 300 entries. Registration includes a finisher medal and a T‑shirt; sizes provided range from 2XL to Y_S. The deadline to guarantee shirt and medal fulfillment is August 24 at 11:59 pm MDT. Listed fees are 32.00 for adults 13 and over and 16.00 for youth 12 and under, processing fees included.
This is an official chip timed event with live online results and downloadable finisher certificates. Age categories run from 11 and under through 60 and over. Strollers are welcome, dogs are not permitted. Packet pickup is available the day before at the PowWow convention centre and on race morning at the start/finish area.
