#HonorMark 2026
The #HonorMark event is an annual community gathering held in Savannah, Georgia. Now in its ninth year, this event supports the local community and families of first responders and military personnel. The proceeds from the event are distributed to various charitable causes within the region. The race takes place at Daffin Park, located in the Midtown area of Savannah.
Participants can choose from several event distances and formats:
- 10k Run: Participants complete the established five-kilometer course twice.
- 5k Run/Walk: A single loop through the park area.
- 5k Ruck: Requires a ten-pound minimum weight for those under 165lbs and twenty pounds for those over 165lbs.
- Kids Run: A 0.5-mile event restricted to children aged ten years and younger.
- Virtual Options: Virtual versions of the 10k, 5k, Ruck, and Kids Run are available.
The event utilizes chip timing for participants in the competitive distances. On-site facilities include portable restrooms, and strollers are permitted on the course. In addition to the races, activities include a raffle and a bouncy house for children. Refreshments and snacks are provided for participants after the event.
