Event details
The 2026 #HonorMark 5K, 10K, 5k Ruck & Kids Fun Run takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 in Savannah, GA at Daffin Park (1 Waring Drive, 31404). The event is the ninth annual running of #HonorMark and honors a local service member and first responder by directing proceeds to the local community. Distances and formats offered include:
- 10k Run
- 5k Run/Walk
- 5k Ruck
- Kids Run (max age 10)
- Virtual Kids Run and virtual 5k, 10k or ruck options
Registration opens on different dates: the 10k opens February 1, 2026; other in-person and virtual events open May 8, 2026. Virtual participants receive their packets by mail and must register by October 16, 2026 to receive them.
Logistics and fundraising
The race uses chip timing. The 10k follows the 5k course twice. Packet pickup is available Thursday, November 5 (Way Station Coffee, Richmond Hill) and Friday, November 6 (Fleet Feet Savannah, Waters Ave). Shirts are not guaranteed after October 16, 2026. Strollers are allowed; restrooms will be onsite. Post-race activities include awards, a raffle, snacks and refreshments, and a bouncy house for children. The event reports charitable donations to families of first responders and military; the 2025 event distributed $20,000 in support. Fleet Feet Savannah has supported the event for nine years.
