The Savannah Southern Half takes place in Savannah, Georgia and offers two distances: a half marathon and a 5K. The course starts at Forsyth Park and runs through the city on closed roads lined with live oak trees and Spanish moss. The half marathon route includes a passage through Grayson Stadium, the Savannah Bananas' home, and the event finishes at Daffin Park where a Finish Festival is held. Free shuttles between the Finish Festival and downtown are listed as available and may be subject to change.

Race weekend includes a race expo and packet pick-up the day before the main events at Trustees’ Garden and the Kehoe Iron Works Campus. Registered runners are offered an exclusive runner community with year-round meetups, training plans, partner perks, and Show Your Bib specials. Event merchandise such as medals and T-shirts are planned for release. Registration fees are non-refundable. Event management and local authorities have the authority to cancel events for emergency purposes, including but not limited to inclement weather, a pandemic, or a security threat. All participants must maintain a 17 minute per mile pace and complete the course within 3 hours and 45 minutes; runners who do not maintain this pace may be redirected and will have limited support on course.
