Girl Scout Island Ultra, Savannah GA
Girl Scout Island Ultra is a looped trail event held on Rose Dhu Island in Savannah, Georgia. The course is a measured 6.25 mile loop, mostly flat and nontechnical with occasional roots. The event is chip timed and uses a timing mat each lap.

Lap counts per distance are measured on the 6.25 mile loop: the 10k equals one lap, the 50k five laps, the 100k ten laps, and the 100 mile sixteen laps. The overall race time cap for all distances is 32 hours.
Aid and services include a single aid station, cupless fueling, GU Roctane hydration mix, and Girl Scout cookies. A registered RN will staff a medical tent for minor injuries and an AED will be available. Designated private breastfeeding space and feminine products are provided at the medical area.
Camping and lodging options are offered through the Girl Scouts with cabins, perches, and elevated tent platforms for a fee; primitive or vehicle camping is available at no fee for ultra distance participants. No RVs are allowed on the island. Proceeds support Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia and Camp Low; donations are forwarded through Rough Runners R4R INC.
Pacers must register, sign a waiver, wear a pacer bib, and follow event pacing rules. Awards include finisher medals for all distances, a buckle for the 100 mile finisher, top male and female awards by distance, relay awards, shirts, and completion patches.
