Event overview
The Honor the Fallen 5K & GORUCK is scheduled for May 2, 2026 at The Grove in College Grove, Tennessee. The event is presented by The Grove Realty and benefits the nonprofit Memories of Honor. The day includes pre-race announcements and patriotic elements such as a color guard and the national anthem, race awards, acknowledgment of surviving family members and volunteers, a passing of the flag ceremony, a Memorial Mile, and an after party with live music.
Race details and amenities
The event offers a 5K run/walk, a noncompetitive GORUCK option, and a Memorial Mile. The course is described as 100% pavement using street and golf course paths. On-course amenities include real restrooms and a water station about midway through the course. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on event day. 5K registration includes an event t-shirt (must register by April 24 to secure a shirt), a finisher medal, an electronic finisher certificate, and a Fallen Hero Memorial bib that contains the name of a fallen service member.
