Event Overview
This event includes a 5K run/walk and a non-competitive GORUCK activity, as well as a Memorial Mile. The event is organized to honor fallen military service members, with proceeds benefiting the charity Memories of Honor. It is presented by The Grove Realty.
Location and Date
The event takes place at The Grove in College Grove, Tennessee. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd.
Activities and Course
Participants can choose from several activities.
- 5K Run/Walk: This is a timed event with an awards ceremony for top finishers in various age groups. The course is described as 100% pavement, using streets and golf course paths. It includes one water station approximately midway.
- GORUCK: This is a separate, non-competitive activity.
- Memorial Mile: A reflective walk included with 5K registration and also available as a standalone option.
Registration for the 5K and GORUCK includes an event t-shirt (if registered by a specific date), a finisher's medal, and a memorial bib bearing the name of a fallen service member.
Post-Event Activities
After the main events, there will be a ceremony acknowledging surviving family members and volunteers. An after-party with live music and food will be held at The Grove. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
