Event overview

Honor the Fallen 5K & GORUCK takes place on May 2, 2026, at The Grove in College Grove, Tennessee. The event benefits the nonprofit Memories of Honor and is presented by The Grove Realty. The program includes a 5K run/walk, a noncompetitive GORUCK option, and a Memorial Mile. After the awards, the schedule includes an acknowledgment of surviving family and volunteers, a passing of the flag ceremony, the Memorial Mile, and a post-event gathering with live music.

Course and registration details

The course is entirely on pavement and uses street and golf course paths. There is a water station about midway through the 5K and permanent restroom facilities on site. Early packet pickup is available the day before the event. 5K registration includes an event t-shirt if registered by April 24, a finishers medal, a Fallen Hero Memorial bib that contains the name of a fallen service member, entry into the Memorial Mile, and an electronic finisher's certificate. GORUCK participants receive a GORUCK patch. Add-on items purchased at registration are available for pickup with the race packet.
