About the race
The Honiton 5km Family Fun Run, organized by the Honiton Branch of The Royal British Legion, is a community event held in Honiton to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal. Scheduled for June 28, 2025, the run features a circular 5km route around the town, starting and finishing on the High Street. The course primarily follows pavements with marshalled major road crossings to ensure safety.
Open to all ages, participants are encouraged to be over nine years old and children under 16 should run with a guardian. The event celebrates Armed Forces Day and the 80th Anniversary of VE and VJ Day, with a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere and support from local sponsors.
