Bell Challenge Day 5 - Event

Bell Challenge Day 5 takes place on Friday, 01 January 2027 in Exmouth, starting from Capel Lane. The event is a 7 hour timed road event on an accurately measured out-and-back course. Each lap is 5.3 km, run entirely on tarmac along an old disused train line. The route is described as mainly flat with a few rises. Finishers receive a medal.

Format and entry details

The organiser offers multi-day challenge options that run on nearby dates: events are also held on 28, 29, 30 and 31 December 2026, and on 2 and 3 January 2027, with options described as 4 in 4 days, 5 in 5 days, or 7 in 7 days. Entrants have up to seven hours to reach the finish of their final lap. Entrants may complete any number of laps within the permitted time; examples in the event information include finishing 1 lap, 4 laps, or 14 laps or more.
