Bell Challenge Day 5
This is an 8 hour timed running and walking event on Friday 1 January 2027 in Exmouth, held on a measured, road-classified course. The route is an out-and-back lap of 5.3 km on tarmac, following a scenic line on an old disused train track. The course is mainly flat with a few rises.
The event uses a "TUGG" system that provides a flexible arrival window and a single event cut-off time. Entrants may complete as many laps as they can within the permitted time; finishing any lap within that period is recorded as a finish and earns a medal.
The event is open to runners and walkers aged 18 years and over. Maximum entries are limited to 100 and entries close on 26 December 2026. The organiser offers multi-day participation options across adjacent dates (28, 29, 30 and 31 December 2026, and 2 and 3 January 2027) with combinations described as 4 in 4 days, 5 in 5 days, or 7 in 7 days.
