Bell Challenge Day 5 : Event overview
This is an 8-hour timed road event held on Friday 1 January 2027 in Exmouth, located at Capel Lane. The course uses a scenic, accurately measured out and back route on an old disused train line, surfaced entirely in tarmac and classified as Road. Each lap is 5.3 km and the route is mainly flat with a few rises.
Participants may take part over multiple days as part of linked events on surrounding dates, with options described by the organiser for multi-day challenges. A turn-up system is operated that allows flexible start times within the organiser’s open window, while all participants must reach the finish by the event cut-off time.
The event accepts a maximum of 100 entrants and has a minimum age of 18 years. Entries close on 26/12/2026. Finishers are eligible to collect a medal for the event. Entry categories and fees at the time of publication include affiliated and unattached options, with a reduced-price option that excludes medals or additional perks.
