Knightshayes National Trust Christmas Score Event
The event takes place at Knightshayes National Trust on Sunday 28th December. The terrain is parkland and woodland with a strong path network. The event is run as a score format with a fixed time limit.
Format and rules
This is a 60-minute score event with a mass start. Competitors must collect their map from registration and only open it after the hooter. Runners have 60 minutes to visit as many controls as possible. There is a 15 point penalty for every minute or part minute beyond the 60-minute time limit. If a hired SI card is lost, the replacement cost charged is £30.
Entry and fees
Pre-entry fees (from 18th November until 15th December) are: Senior £8, Junior/Student £3. Non-BOF members pay a £1 supplement. Chip hire is £1 for seniors and £1 for juniors/students. Late or on-the-day entry fees (from 15th December) are: Senior £9, Junior/Student £4, with the same non-BOF supplement and chip hire charges. Juniors are defined as those under 21 on 31st December. Late entry after the closing date is subject to map availability and carries a £1 supplement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
